The decorations are slowly put up , but without much enthusiasm -- my moto for this Christmas is "less is more " !!
The thaw is on its way , Gary cleared more snow yesterday so the drive is cleared and I can get my car out and he also cleared the back drive so our refuse bin could be put out for today's collection . The drive around the close looks quite slippery with condensed snow and ice after the traffic has started to move. but the main roads are quite free ! So this afternoon its off to the theatre to see the pantomime - Peter Pan , -- oh no she's not !!
Perhaps this will kindle the spirits of Christmas !

Ah Beryl you will come back full of Christmas cheer, it only takes a bit of an outing to get you in the mood. You must be so glad to escape out if the house too! Love the beautiful wood that your display cabinet is made from.
