Blackbirds in the garden

The blackbirds keep coming daily for their meals ! ( this was take a few days ago but wanted it for my diary )

I just realised how much different textures are seen in this shot the glossy smooth textures of the feathers against the pebbly rough textures of the flower-buds on the prunus tree and the textures of the bird seeds ! - hence I shall submit it in for Textures in the March words !

Those blackbirds are so black & you can almost feel the soft velvety texture of their feathers in this shot Beryl, well done! The small pink buds look terrific with the black too. We have lots of blackbirds this year thankfully!
