Just a quick shot as I was preparing for our evening meal The Bramley apples are in the shops ( I wish I had my own tree in the garden ) So I just fancied making an Apple crumble with orange rind and cinnamon in fact made three -- two for the freezer and one for tonight !
Oh Beryl if only you lived next door to me, I have loads of Bramley apples, far too many to use! Love the use of almonds on the top! You are living well tonight! I have never heard of orange rind used in the crumble but sounds a good addition to me!
Ohhhh....I've got one of these in my fridge.....my daughter made it for us....she has several trees in her garden and they all produced loads this year.
@koalagardens - thanks , yes I sometimes put sultanas in my apple crumbles - and also add other fruits to the apples at times - variety is the spice of (apple crumbles) life !!
