Its another wet and dark day , with the winds picking up this afternoon and being quite gusty !. So I am indoors today and waiting for the plumber to come to see to our upstairs' toilet , it is not flushing properly ! I think we may need a new part in the cistern ! So at the moment just using the downstairs loo , which is not very convenient at night !
I should th8 k not Beryl & I nearly always get up in the night! Wet day here too plus windy tonight! That ivy looks lovely climbing g up the trunks but the trees won’t be that happy!
In the old days people would keep a bucket beside the bed for emergencies or even for convenience. Not hygienic nowadays but nobody died of infection from the bucket in those days. That must have been a lovely walk notwithstanding the mud.
