A windy morning and much cooler today - it was difficult to shot a flower at a quiet moment ! but I succeeded with the Kaffir lily . A plant which will flower well into the Autumn as long as there is no hard frost !
The saga of the foot goes on - Physio on annual leave , my GP on his day off - so saw another Dr in the Practice - All he could do after examination was offer stronger pain killers and after consulting my file found they had adverse affect on me - so came away with a stronger jel to rub on the effected area and an app with the Physio when he returns in a fortnight's time . !
That is always the hard part about closeups. The slightest movement (wind) is also made larger. This has nice crisp details and vibrant colors. Very nice.
Oh heck not much joy with your foot then...why do these people have holidays, so inconvenient!!! Oh dear well it’s all you can do I suppose....that will be a long fortnight! Can a podiatrist not do anything in the meantime? A real splash of colour in your flower beds!

A beautiful capture of this gorgeous flower. I love Kaffir lilies. We planted several in our new garden but none of them are flowering yet. Is there still hope? Could yours be a bit early?
