Rowan berries

The berries on the Rowan tree or Mountain Ash .The little trees dotted around the carpark when I went shopping yesterday were loaded with their ripened berries ! A sign that summer is coming to a close , and as the country folk predict a hard winter !
The weather certainly has the feel of Autumn about it . Rain showers again today .

We passed some Rowan trees today & I noted to Harry how beautiful they are this year. We have one in the wood but it’s not as bright or as many berries on as yours...no idea why. Laden down with berries!
