Hosta

the Hosta in the garden are at their best at the moment as the slugs and snails haven't found them yet ! Here the Welsh Poppy has mingled with the Hosta - rather a sweet marriage !!
A dull day . I was coping very well with the lockdown but all of a sudden everything seems to go wrong
1) I am in much pain with my shoulder and arm - nothing to do but rest it at the moment !
2) Bathroom washbasin seems to have a blockage , water not flowing very well . Gary went to plunge it but as the plunger had not been used in ages , it had perished and split !
3) the handle of the downstairs cloakroom loo snapped so can not flush !
4) in spite of all this we do have a supply of toilet paper ! ha !
5) Have ordered the toilet handle and plunger on line , will be delivered on tues ! , hope G & I can repair the necessaries !
6) Worse of all the problems is with my laptop - it will not down load from my camera hence had to use my tablet today - which I find so clumsy !
Sorry , what a load of moans Life is so frustrating when things go wrong in this lock down

I love host as & there are so many varieties! It look almost like you’re is flowering Beryl! Our garden is nice & shady under the trees but the soil is dry so they never seem to thrive very well.

Mine was also alway`s eaten by snails. Now I`ve them replanted in pots and no problems anymore.
