My garden is so beautifully and heavenly perfumed especially in the evening .as my Corydaline has come to flower .for the 1st time !!! This Cordyline Australis was bought well over 30 years ago in a small pot .It remained in the pot for some years before being planted out in the garden . After a couple of years I didn't like it in that spot in the garden and before it grew too big -it was moved to its present spot . Now 30+ years and grown to over 4m high , it has flowered for the first time .and what a treat , the perfume is heavenly especially in the early evening !
Another beautiful sunny day , ,a shame I couldn't go out to a beauty spot with dappled shade and running water - but I must count my lucky stars that I have a garden which I love .
Your garden looks heavenly at this point in time. Plenty of rain must be the magician responsible for all this. I also like the pigeon up there on the roof seemingly being the supervisor. Lovely shot. Enjoy the sunshine.
I didn't know what a corydaline was and upon investigation, it is very like the NZ Cabbage tree. We had flowers from all the ones in our garden but because they are so tall, never knew they had scent!
