Not my usual display of poppies this year , but one or two self-setters in odd places in the garden . But each one has a massive flowerhead . Unfortunately with the heavy rain and winds these last week or so the do not last very long -
Late posting tonight as I have been out in the garden this afternoon ( dry afternoon ! ) weeding and a little tidying . As the saying goes -- The garden is a thing of beauty and a job for ever !
I love the way poppies pop up here & there in the garden but I do love a more natural look if itâs possible. I sometimes see gardens that are very regimented, I like a bit of flow & surprise!
