The other day when on my detour to the pond I found this inviting looking pathway . It had overhanging trees and bushes on each side and the place was alive with the song of the birds - in fact the birds were very noisy - but enchantingly so . I would have loved to venture along the path but I had only taken one elbow crutch out of the car with me - so was limited on only a short distance . I had to suffice with this scene and the heady bird songs !
