Pheasant Berry - -

- - or Purple Rain , two of the names given to the shrub Leycesteria Formosa. Having lost my shrub when I had builders in about fifteen years ago , I found this plant in a car-boot sale a few years ago having purchased it , it has by now grown to a decent sized shrub and producing these glossy berries ! which I believe pheasants love ,hence the name !
