Once upon a time the humble candle was the main light in many a cottage before oil lamps, gas and electricity . But today they are a luxury and fun to give the warmth and glow of the candle. Often perfumed to add to the pleasure given ,
As the winter approaches and the day draws shorter - I do love a candle or two to brighten the room at twilight !
