Today I met up with my friend -We taught together for over 10 years. We meet once a month for lunch and gossip !!! We usually meet up in a cosy little country pub which serves all home made food and fresh local vegetables When we were given the special board we both quickly spotted the mistake !! Unfortunately we no longer carry red marking pens with us !!!! The spelling conjured up all sorts of ideas !!!! While we were smiling, commenting and taking the photo the waitress came for our order she assured us it was not she who had written the menu ,as she had been on holidays !!
Brilliant. Hope it didn't leak all over the table. We go to a trivia night at our local tavern and our team is called "The Squirrels" We never get the name spelt correctly even though we tell them every week how to spell it. Last week it was "squirels", we have also had squirrells, squirells and believe it or not sqirrells. The food is much better than the spelling though.
