Saint Eustache church…. It is particularly distinguished by its size, the wealth of artwork it houses and its grand organ… Which is huge and quite magnificent.
True to tradition, the church hosts Philharmonic Orchestra, choirs& prestigious festivals throughout the year.
What I really really… like is the help & support for the homeless… those experiencing hardship or those who are simply alone… on Saturday afternoons from 4,30 - 6.30pm … a place to meet for hot and cold drinks with sweet and savoury snacks also the opportunity to play chess Scrabble checkers…
It is quite a special church in so many ways the doors are always open.
A lovely little quote from Rumi….
“ beautiful things don’t ask for attention, love is the sea where gratitude drowns…”
It represents the best aspects of religion - the beautiful architecture, care and compassion, music to lift the spirit. You've captured this very well too. Fav
