Taughannock Wet Spot on a Cliff Monochrome

I went to Taughannock Falls State Park on World Photography Day.
I was very disappointed to discover the falls were not flowing. We had a lot of rain in Rochester, but the park is 86 miles southeast of here.

On another note; I was extremely happy with the gas mileage I got with my new Prius Prime. The first 32 miles I didn't use any gas, only the plug-in battery. After that, I discovered that unlike my previous 2015 Prius, the hybrid system shuts off the gas engine when the battery has enough charge.
I got 81.7 MPG on the trip.
I had filled my tank about 2 weeks ago, and when I got back from this trip, I filled it again. On this tank I drove 436.3 miles, and I got 126.9 MPG!!!!

Sorry your trip was a bust as far as the falls are concerned but it sounds like an extraordinary experiment on your gas mileage! A terrific picture even if there is no water

Bummer about the falls. That's some kind of mileage to be getting. Hope it keeps up and gets better. Was wondering were you had been lately.
