Dandelion

An unplanned shot. Just spotted this whilst out in the garden. Apparently they are an invasive weed so they will have to be sprayed. Shame.

There are so many things you can do besides spray pesticides on these. And dandelion can be eaten. It is also a spring plant for many species of animals for whom survival is critical.

@billyboy You are welcome. To control them, take off the heads before they go to seed. Rather than use pesticides that end up killing non-target species and end up in our groundwater.
