Had a fabulous day with hubby around London finding the book benches and also discovering some nice areas. That's the beauty of doing these trails.
We arrived at London Bridge around 10ish and we caught the 6:18 train back home. Not sure how many miles we walked but we covered three areas starting with the Riverside trail then onto the City - ending with the Bloomsbury trail
Hubby is great at navigating and we managed to find almost all of them all but three. Most of the shots in the City had people sitting them them but just took the shot anyway - some miserable people out there- Maybe hubby and i will go again on a Saturday as the city is so quiet then!
The only times we sat down was:
At Riverside for refuelling ....pint for hubby, Pimms for me :-)
We enjoyed late lunch at Carluccinos
Finishing the day with a big tub of sorbet for me, brownie sundae for hubby. Strolling back to the station via Convert Garden
Over 300 shots and such a wonderful fabulous day. Hubby now enjoying the DVD that arrived today Peter Gabriel Concert at the O2 that we went to last year. Poor hubby's knee is aching but I hope after a good few days rest it'll be ok http://www.booksabouttown.org.uk/
