Brighton seagull

Such a wonderful day yesterday although slight panic at the end as the venue confiscated all cameras and you had to collect them at the end. Its the first time that has ever happened to me and we have been to many many concerts, gigs at various venues. It was absolute mayhem at the end of the show as people wanted to collect 'their' ticket with their name on it as they took them off you as you entered why they didn't just tear off the sub ...who knows? When I first got to the desk where the tickets nobody was there so I managed to squeeze back out and ask where do I collect my bag and he just pointed to where I was where the tickets were all on the desk ( table). So I quickly managed to get back through the crowd as at this point I was panicking at which a guy turned up at the desk where all the tickets were as I had my ticket to collect my bag but could not see it at all!! And people were just 'shouting' trying to get attention to get their stuff back. I was in state of panic as could not see my bag at all and this desk (table) it had been unmanned for some time while people were leaving the show and the guy didn't seem to know what he was doing either .....hubby kept telling me to keep calm...Keep Calm ... I don't think so...Where is my bag? Hubby found the guy that took my bag and also a lady said to a stewart that she could see I was panicking so she came over at about the same time the guy said Oh its fine I'll just go and get it for you and apologised for causing me anxious time.

It was a great concert and a lovely day and all ended well. Waring to oneself never take a camera when going to a gig or take a small one and 'hide' the camera. Took some ok pictures with the fisheye and the Lensbaby muse but I had not realised that I had the fisheye optic in the Muse not the best one for the Muse...must remember to change back to the original optic for it. But it was all good fun and enjoyed my new Sony camera too.

A cool capture! And I would have not been a happy camper having to leave my camera - it's never happened to me and I hope it doesn't! Glad things turned out OK!

Sounds like a very traumatic day. Not very organized were they. Glad you survived the experience though and all ended well.

Great place to go if one wants to hire a seagull for a private function. Glad everything turned out well with the camera--I would certainly not want to leave mine under the guard of someone I didn't know.
