Walked to the station and caught an earlier train to enjoy a few hours around London Bridge area before my appointment at Guys hospital.. My it was bitterly cold so went into Pret and enjoyed a latte and coconut porridge to wile away an hour. Was going to climb the stairs to the 27th floor but after climbing to the 11th checked with member of staff I was on the right staircase but she said no .... but when I asked another member of staff she took me to the same staircase? Now slightly confused but apparently you cross over at fooor 17??? So decided to ask if she was going to floor 27 as I hate lifts but just OK if I’m with someone. The appointment went well.
Afterwards walked to Chinatown as meeting Becky after work to fo to Franco Manco for dinner. I was shopping in Tiger when Becky called she was out of work an hour early. So she met me outsideTiger. And Becky plans had changed into Primark we go for holiday clothes for India. I only purchased a couple of scarfs the trousers they didn’t have in my size. And she fancied Wasabi Chicken Katzu curry and I didn’t mind.
A wonderful day apart from the bitterly cold weather
