A wonderful day out with mum out shopping. Oh no ....The Works book shop when I see one just Have to pop inI ...say no more I came out with another two books 1. knitting egg cosies - love small knitting projects and at £2 cheaper than a magazine! And also 2. Paul Hollywood’s baking
Lunch in a lovely new cafe that’s opened up. Mum and I shared a Delicous chicken pesto and mozerella toastie would of shared a cake too but as I’m watching calories and want to lose as much as poss before dad’s birthday party we gave the cake a miss. Had to laugh though at the counter the lady in front of us ordered a muffin.. and then said oh they looked much bigger behind the glass so the guy got the tray out and said oh which one do you want so she choose one that she thought was the biggest... obvisouly she is not watching her calories 🤣. Some strange folk about but gave mum and I a good laugh.
Mum achieved all the shopping tasks, finding out about balloons for dad’s party, and a few other bits and pieces. Another fabulous fun day.
So this evening thought I would start a project as haven’t done a photo for the day except take a shot of a cover on a notebook that mum thought was perfect for me. Love notebooks and each time I go out shopping I nearly always come back with one.... but didn’t purchase that one as in was A4 size🤣
I love looking at peoples knitting, I used to knit when the kids were littke but know I would get fed up half way through these days....mind you an egg cosy would soon be finished so......
