Wedding Outfit

We did have an appointment at a bridal shop for mother of the bride outfits but neither of us was impressed, so hubby dropped us off at Bluewater.
It was a wonderful day with Mum. So this was my choice I found it hard as I don't really like dressing up. Hubby liked the dress too but then I was questioning myself had I made the right choice? I did ask my daughters but neither my them could commit to a date to come with us to go shopping for my outfit :-(
Going out Sunday with Mum and we are shopping for a fascinator, shoes and bag well hopefully will find something. The wedding is not till April but I wanted to get it all sorted sooner rather than later and now I'm just anxious is this the best choice so not sure whether getting it sorted early was such a good thing.
Still feeling very low. But I'm working on the sugar flowers keeping occupied and something challenging saying to myself this will be the best cake I've ever made and It will make me proud. I did wedding cakes for two of my brothers and also my brother-in-law. So it's keeping me busy

For what it's worth, this looks perfect - lovely pattern and subtle colours. It sounds like you've got it all in hand even if it might not seem so. And if you're not used to 'dressing up' (I'm the same!) it's going to be hard to look at how it looks on you objectively. Trust hubby! (and being so organised you've still got time to return it if you really think it's not right) 😊

I think @boxplayer has really said it well. We all want these events to be perfect and sometimes in our strive for perfection we can lose sight of the overall aim. I remember trying to organise my daughters wedding and how stressful it was and when the day came I realised most of my stress had been for nothing.
