This was my view as I waited in the parking lot while Ken had an EKG preliminary to a surgical procedure he will have on Tuesday, the 19th. It's a pretty building. Thankfully, the wait was brief, and the surgical procedure is an elective one...a trial surgical implant in his lower back of a "pain interrupter" unit. If it helps, he will have it permanently implanted sometime next month. Prayers appreciated! :-)
@olivetreeann Ken had the trial leads removed yesterday and is anticipating the permanent implant to happen in another three or four weeks, if our insurance gives the OK. Thanks for your prayers! Now that he is without the spinal cord stimulator for the next little while, he can really see how much it was helping him during the trial week. I am not looking forward to the six-week recovery they say it will take for him to get totally back into his normal activities following the surgery to permanently implant the unit. This is a man who is ALWAYS busy. Pray for ME! lol
