I was so excited to spy this eagle in a tree top just off the roadside as we headed out on an errand. My hubby graciously turned around to drive back a short distance to where I had seen it, and thankfully, it had not left.
@milaniet Thanks, Milanie! Yes, it was fun to realize that he was close enough for me to get a pretty good capture with my 300mm lens. The only others I have seen locally sit in a tree across the nearby river, requiring me to crop my photos to even convey a bit of what it's like to see a bald eagle. Now I am hoping to get a good shot of a hawk. Each time we have seen any while out driving, they fly away before I can get a shot off...
