Pre-surgery Souvenir...

I had the best pre-op nurse. She was a real gem! However, she could not get the IV into this arm. Thus, all the bruising. She finally called in a colleague who successfully inserted the IV into my other arm. I didn't even realize I had these bruises until I came home yesterday.

Ouch, I have the same problem, my veins are so tiny they always have trouble finding them. I was a premature baby so I guess I was born before I was properly cooked. ha ha

I'm so sorry. I have the same problems. When they can't cram they say I'm dehydrated.

Oh my- well, I know what that's like. The nurse couldn't find a vein for my IV when I was delivering my second child- finally called in another nurse who was better at it- after 10 tries!
