While walking along the riverfront downtown today I came across a WW II monument which included this fascinating plaque about women in wartime! I learned so much in the short time it took to read it! Hope others will enjoy reading it, too, and if you ever come to Fairbanks I will take you to see it and the rest of our interesting waterfront in person!
