@mittens Yes, I did, Marilyn! Usually just make and can homemade salsa, but had so many tomatoes last summer that I tried crushing some and canning them. :-)
@casablanca Homemade marmalade sounds so yummy! I am thankful that gardening season is nearly upon us, giving us something constructive to occupy our minds and hands while we are "social distancing". I find I am struggling with that because, while I do like "alone" time I also need "people time", with a nice balance between the two. So, like most likely everyone, my life feels severely "off kilter" right now. Thankful for my husband and our pets providing companionship! Hope you have the companionship you need in these days!
@bjywamer I feel for you, Barb. It is the same here. Not allowed out of the house except to buy food, assist someone vulnerable, have a short walk for exercise or for some medical reason. Hubby working from home and Teenager here too now after his course was closed suddenly, so we do have each other, for which I am grateful. I am finding making a schedule helps and also putting in the diary times when I will be calling certain friends or family. Brought in a bit of structure to help. Last week, I didn't know what day it was half the time! Sending you lots of love from my corner of Lockdown England! xxx
