I would ONLY take this kind of photo to meet a challenge here at 365! lol No matter that my husband tells me this kind is harmless. I hate being surprised by them in my flowerbeds or vegetable garden, as so often happens.:-)
I'm not overly fond of snakes either and am known to scream if I am surprised by one when hiking a trail. Luckily I've never come across one in my garden.
@kvphoto I first saw this one at one end of my flowerbed this morning and , Yes, I screamed! Knee-jerk reaction that makes no sense since it was nowhere near me and no threat. lol Then I thought, "Wait a minute! Opportunity is knocking!" So I came inside to get my camera, hoping it would still be somewhere in the flowerbed. Crazy, hmmm?! :-)
I probably would be better of if I knew the "good" ones from the "baddies" - or not! All snakes make me jump - but if I get a safe chance for a shot I do go for it - Makes no sense either.
