So Lynn @lynnb I thought about you when I saw this plane the other day at the aviation museum.
This is a Beech D18S it was built in 1952 for the R.C.A.F. It served at Rockcliffe ON. until 1965. In 1967 it was purchased by a gentleman named Stubb Ross to start Lethbridge Air which later became Time Air and eventually Canadian Regional. This plane was restored in 1991 and then donated to the museum
We are talking that we MIGHT get up to Alberta to visit family next summer. If so, we hope to get up to Wetaskiwin and Edmonton from Calgary, Three Hills, and Red Deer areas (family each community). My husband, especially, would like to see this museum.
@bkbinthecity We'd like to meet you too. We'll see if we make it next summer. Surely talking about it....... and Alberta is a MAJOR magnet for us when we think "RVing".
