76 Trombones in the Big Parade

So the other day Ann @olivetreeann posted a picture of her niece performing in the musical The Music Man.
This reminded me of a trip we took many years ago. We were in Mason City, Iowa the home town of Meredith Wilson, the actor from the Hollywood production.
They have built an area recreating scenes from the musical.
Here you can see a classroom set up with 76 trombones. My apologies for the quality of the photo as it is several years old

Oh, that's fun! I will have to show this to my niece the next time she visits. FYI (as I know it's been a few years since you were there!), Meredith Wilson was the author/composer of the musical. Shirley Jones, Richard Widmore, Buddy Hackett and Ron Howard starred in the movie version. How fun you were able to see it!
