This one room school was built in 1881 and served as Edmonton's first school for over 20 years.
Today it is located at the Edmonton Public School Archives and Museum. It is open to the public and many classes bring students here for field trips
It's great that they've preserved the original building and still use it to teach children on field trips today. Love that you've included the contrast of past and present with the buildings in your photos as well.
How nice that it still exists and that you can actually go inside and take a look around. It makes for an interesting image with the towering blocks behind it.
