Then and Now......Going Up and Down

Here is another look into Edmonton's past. Edmonton's Incline Railway ran only a short time. It operates from 1908-1911. It was a means to transport both people and goods from Ross Flats in the river valley up to downtown Edmonton.
Today one block east of the original location is the Edmonton Funicular.
It is a quick way to transport people back and forth from downtown to the river valley

Nice then and now collage- the incline reminds me of the one they have in Pittsburgh. It's very similar.
