Since 1939

It was November of 1939 that the Hudson's Bay Department Store opened its doors in downtown Edmonton. For several years this was home to one of Edmonton's premier Department Stores.
As a kid I remember coming here with my Grandmother on Saturday afternoons. I also remember the great window displays especially at Christmas.
Today it is home to Enterprise Square which is an extension of the University of Alberta
