Built By A Premier

Just down the road from the Earth Sciences Building in yesterday's post is this house.
This is the Rutherford House. Built in 1910 by Alberta's first Premier Alexander Rutherford. He was instrumental in establishing the University of Alberta in 1908 and decided to build the house on the campus.
Today it is a museum that is open to the public.
That looks like a lovely house, I just find the colour it bit too much for my liking. Lovely shot with that fresh green appearing on the trees.
