Yesterday he was everywhere, he enjoyed climbing and exploring, and hiding from us.. ate tons (for him anyway)...
....but this morning he just wanted to sleep. It seems a different squirrel. Trying not to worry, as he ate a little bit, and drank some water by lunchtime and just before I left, but he's not his normal self.
Today he also tried cucumber (yum), mushrooms (interested but not sure), cabbage (yuck), cauliflower (not great), cheese (uber yuck).
All these foods are what internet pages tell us to try, hope this is right, but he's just not hungry today, not good.
My other half just told me on the phone that he came out of his box to say hello when he heard footsteps at 5pm. He drank a bit more water, so we hope he's just having an off-day.. Today is much cooler, and its been raining a little. Hoping this is why he's feeling more snug.
Keeping my fingers crossed so hard :-(
Yay, update: 2 hours on and apparently he's munching well and now drinking loads, plus back into climbing and hiding from my partner, big phew!
You know we're hanging on to your every word about your baby! I think we've all taken him in as "ours" as well! I read with concern your worries about him today, and then...having arrived late, I guess...I see your update, which is just excellent! I think the baby is going to make it! You've got a great string of photos for your efforts and I've made them all favorites. I'll keep checking in...I care...
Thankyou Louise and Ken! I appreciate your kind words, everyone's kind words actually! I wasnt sure that anyone would want to know too much, but I still wanted to put things up so I can look back even when the squirrel is long gone (hopefully healthy and happy!).
Photographing the squirrel has been fun, be he's starting to hide from the camera now, if he's eating he turns his back, or hides under the garden bench, lol. I think he's had enough of me snapping :-)
I've had to come home now for a few days for work, so at least he will get a break from me! I miss him already tho, a lot. Stupid huh?
Aw Frieda thank you for saying that. but i have learned to take photos so that is shows my best sides. I am 5'5 and recently weighed in at 181lbs. about 50lbs over weight for my height. my goal is not 125, but more like 135-140. and I am not simply dieting i am being healthier, eating better, cutting out soda and sugar juices and eating more naturally! along with getting my butt off the couch! so I am just working on being healthier so that i can hopefully start a family soon and on the right foot! But thank you for your kindness!
