Went back with my tripod and camera to nearby Kirkstall Abbey tonight. It was such a nice sunny crisp day, I hoped the evening be okay too.
They light the inside of the Abbey at nightfall, thought it was a shame they didnt light the outside instead. Nearly an 8 second exposure.. I hope Mr Night Guy Aaron approves!
As a side note, am enjoying the news again today on my old editor about the phone tapping scandal at News of the World.. I knew about this when it was going on, and I was just a lowly freelancer, he must've known.. I like this very much - was outside beautiful cathedral this evening in twillight - door ajar, golden magical light within - beautiful pillars. No camera!!! so this particularly caught my eye. Great shot. Intriguing about the news story - sounds like you could do an insider piece!!

I so need to get back out doing nights....this is what I miss. The fact it looks like day light but clearly not with the lights in the abbey! Sweet
