I saw this at a gatekeepers cottage near Kirkstall Abbey the other night (yes, another filler pic). It made me feel sad for my old job.
There's nothing like being unemployed and never hearing back from the photography jobs I've applied for, to firmly place the rose-tinted specs on my face.. I miss it my old job!
Note to self: Never give up a job during a recession.
Aww got quite sad at this. Sorry, a lovely evocative picture but don't need you to be down. It is hard when one is used to having productive days (however rubbish!!) to be at home trying to fill your time. Pecker up girl!!
I love the old-time feel to this shot! I'm sorry you haven't been hearing back about the jobs you've applied for. I hope something fantastic comes your way soon!
You should join the Army! I hate it myself, and much prefer the idea of being a photographer, but at least it's recession-proof! Great shot! I love the dark tones, it makes me want to see the rest.
woah this is has so many subtle and awesome things going on! great shot!
Thank you! i will miss you guys. I just starte dthis project to post and take a pic everyday...and as soon as I didn't take a pic on a day I knew i was done. In my own mind It was done fore me. blah! BUT i am excited about the future and my classes are starting to get interesting! thank you for all your help in the past! good luck to you!
@azza_l Sorry, never replied. No, I didnt press it, should've tho! And no chance of old job back, they've got to lose 25% of their staff at the mo. I could go back to press, waiting for the phone to ring, but I'll not get back my verbal contract. Nevermind!
Good luck with the job hunt.
Best of luck with the job hunting, just enjoy the time you have now and stay positive :)
Hope you find something that you love soon, best of luck with that!
good luck finding a new (and hopefully great) job

Did you press it and run off...
Very lovely composition.
Hang in there Freida. I believe you have great adventures ahead. (Sounds like a fortune cookie...)
Good luck with everything. Be strong and keep telling yourself that: Never give up.
