This week we want you to go back to basics! Not with photography, but with your ABC. That's right, this week's theme is 'alphabet'.
Similar themes have proven fun in the past as it makes us think outside the box and create something magical from something so simple!
Try experimenting with finding props, or willing friends/children, to spell out letters. Or, look carefully and pay attention to your surroundings to spot letters where you wouldn't expect to find them. We're thinking surprising shadows, unusual clouds or peculiar branches.
You might even use this as an opportunity to take simple typography and scrabble pieces to experiment with different photography techniques, like B&W or low key lighting.
Whatever takes your fancy, remember to have fun and try something different!
How to enter this week's theme
When uploading your photos use the tag section (on the edit/organise screen) and insert this week's theme tag: theme-alphabet.
Entry Guidelines: Photos must be your own and must have been taken and uploaded from Tuesday 21st August until the following Sunday (6 days). 5 finalists will be chosen on the Monday evening (PST), then you get to vote for the winner.

Ulrika's 365 project is full of enchanting and captivating photos, mostly of nature, which are always a pleasure to look at for the weekly theme. So, it's no surprise that @ulla's beautiful photograph caught our attention. With the light leading us down the winding path, we love how our sense of curiosity is heightened thanks to the focus of the trees subtly softening into the distance.
