We all know that fruit and vegetables are good for us, but it's easy to over look how good they can also be for our photography! Inspired by a seasonal shift in what's 'in' or 'out' of season in the produce isles, we though a 'fiveaday' theme could be a fun challenge.
From lining up a rainbow of colourful fruit, to focusing on just one bold colour, your photos could be bold and bright this week. Or, maybe you'd like to play with isolation and negative space to make something stand out!
For those of you who'd like a more technical challenge, fruit and veg makes for a great macro subject, whether it's seeds on a strawberry or dew drops on a crisp apple.
Whatever you come up with, we hope you have fun capturing (and eating) your five a day!
How to enter this week's theme
When uploading your photos use the tag section (on the edit/organise screen) and insert this week's theme tag: theme-fiveaday.
Entry Guidelines: Photos must be your own and must have been taken and uploaded from Monday 19th March until the following Saturday (6 days). 5 finalists will be chosen on the Sunday afternoon (PST), then you get to vote for the winner.
Winner of the 'Human' theme
We'd like to say a huge "Thank You" to everyone who voted for a winner of the human theme. We're thrilled to reveal, @parisouailleurs as the winner!
We love the warm feeling we get from seeing a precious moment captured in such a beautiful photograph. It's not a surprise @parisouailleurs' photo was a hit with the community, I'm sure many of us might only dream of seeing 4 generations of our family connected at a single point in time.
Vote for the 'Daylight' theme winner
Just looking at your daylight theme photos really brightened our day! As always, it was tricky to choose just five finalists, but we got there in the end. Now it's over to you!
To cast your vote, just reply to this blog post with the number (in digit form) of the photo you would like to see win.
