This week we're feeling inspired by the recent announcement of the 2018 Nobel Prize award winners - with the theme 'Periodic Table'!
Although this might be our most obscure theme yet, so many elements in the periodic table make for incredible photography inspiration!
For 'He' - Helium, get creative with some balloons.
For 'O' - Oxygen, play with capturing bubbles.
Have fun with the surfaces of different metals - 'Fe' for Iron, 'Cu' for Copper, 'Ag' for Silver or 'Au' for Gold!
Or go crazy with a molecular form and play with 'H2O' - Water for some splash photography.
You could also think of more abstract associations to the elements, like bright signage at night for 'Ne'- Neon, or a smile full of teeth for 'Ca' - Calcium.
Whatever you come up with, take a minute to recap on those high school science lessons and have fun with your favourite elements.
We can't wait to see your entries!
How to enter this week's theme
When uploading your photos use the tag section (on the edit/organise screen) and insert this week's theme tag: theme-periodic-table (don't forget the hyphen!).
Entry Guidelines: Photos must be your own and must have been taken and uploaded from Tuesday 9th October until the following Sunday (6 days). 5 finalists will be chosen on the Monday evening (PST), then you get to vote for the winner.
Winner of the 'Low-Key' theme
As always, thank you for taking a minute to vote this week! We're thrilled to announce @rumpelstiltskin as the winner of the low-key theme!
We love @rumpelstiltskin's simple yet striking capture of a coin. From the crisp focus on the delicate circumference of the coin, to the perfect low-key lighting, it's easy to see why the 365 community thought this was a winning shot!
Vote for the 'Wood' theme winner
We love the variety of shots that have been submitted for the wood theme! You guys have done us proud, as usual! We hope you had just as much fun taking the photos as we did looking at them all. So, now it's over to you for voting.
To cast your vote, just reply to this blog post with the number (in digit form) of the photo you would like to see win.
