Awesome shot, such a great expanse.
July 27th, 2014
Awesome, I was there some years ago. It's a beautiful drive. Did you go down into the canyon to see the old Indian homes that are over 2000 years old?
July 27th, 2014
@nicholascronin we hiked to white house ruins but didn't go elsewhere on the canyon bottom. it was hotttt outside.
July 27th, 2014
if you go into phoenix go to the heard museum it's very eye opening on how brutal the indians were treated....actually it's shocking, but really worth a look.
July 27th, 2014
@nicholascronin yup. I live in phx.know all about it.....sad stuff.
July 27th, 2014
@blueberry1222 i was shocked when i read they took their children form them to have them grow up in "white families".
July 27th, 2014
@nicholascronin it was only with in the last few years (okay, I looked it up 1990. god, time flies...) that they tore down the 'indian school' here in phx. They took the indian children away from their families and sent them to 'white' boarding schools. 1990!!!
