poor. by blueberry1222

poor.

The state of Mississippi is known for not being the most wealthiest place on the planet. It is no wonder how such good blues music comes from here. There is a lot to get sad about.

This concludes my month of Mississippi. If interested in seeing all the photos, please visit here:

This image tells the story. Or sums up many stories. Very well done, Krista!

Hi, Krista. I think this is one of your best ones. So much of photography is about the subjects we find or stumble on, as the case may be. This is an excellent subject and your angle and selective focus does quite well by it. A fav.

Nice capture, and yes, sad, but somehow I feel like you've captured dignity as well.

@marcy0414 the fact that there is that light on drew me to the house. There is life in there....

@kali66 Ryan and I are going to the Dordogne region in France mid July. I want to visit the few Paleolithic caves that are still open to the public before someone decides to close them off to visitors forever. I find cave aet to be fascinating and I've never seen 40,000 year old paintings in person.

Cave art, not cave aet! And 40,000 years is exaggerating, but it is freaking deep in time!
