Picture of my new Mazda3 being picked up at the dealership. This is my first new car and I still can't believe that I allowed myself to buy it. I'm usually never this nice to myself! I am at home now starting my new project: burning my CD's into mp3's so I can put music on a thumb drive. I almost don't know why I am bothering as I haven't even listened to more than half of the CD's that I own for years. Guess this will prove to be one way to finally listen to them again. New cars don't have CD players anymore, so it's making feel like an old fart.
I bought my first new car two years ago at the age of 58, a Suzuki, and I too looked in vain for the CD player. However, I am still convinced that one day soon the coolest cars will have a record player for vinyl LPs.
I love the color - and guess I'd better start thinking about changing some of the CD's to MP3's - surely there's instructions on the net somewhere for the technology challenged older folks!
