These flowers grow wild on the side of the road and hummingbirds love them. I decided to grow one from seed in my garden a few years ago and now they pop up randomly where ever.
The flowers in the background simultaneously steal the show and compliment the mallow! Could they be used for herbal tea? I have one that contains mallow but perhaps a different species
@dustyloup I think Native Americans used it for something medicinal, but I don't have a clue how they did. This plant is mainly grown for ornamental purposes now.
