Extinct volcano. Tried to hike up it, but it looks closer than it was and our car couldn't make down the deeply rotted road to get to the base of it. Also, it was the height of the day and too hot out, but it did pose for a pretty picture. We did come across a Coeurs Deer (aka "the grey ghost" because it is so elusive) while out there, so that was worth it.
