If I could see the world
Thru the eyes of a child
What a wonderful world this would be
There'd be no trouble and no strife
Just a big happy life
With a bluebird in every tree
I could see right, no wrong
I could see good, no bad
I could see all the good things
In life I've never had
If I could see the world
Thru the eyes of a child
What a wonderful world this would be
If I could see the world
Thru the eyes of a child
Smiling faces would greet me all the while
Like a lovely work of art
It would warm my weary heart
Just to see thru the eyes of a child

@taidster Thank you so much for your nice comment! I didn't soften it, it just came out that way...in fact I thought it might be distracting and tried to sharpen the soft area and when that didn't work I tried cropping that area off but that just looked weird so I just decided to let it be! :)
oh paula, its amazing, and my apologies for calilng you koshi lol, the photo looks like another user's baby boy and in my defence i was in bed, just woken up and blurry eyed hehe, i feel stoopid now :-/ BUT its still amazing of course ;-))
@taidster Ha! :) Somehow that makes me feel better....that is SO like something I'd do! No problemo...I knew who you were referring to so if you want to confuse me with her I'm definitely ok with that! :)
Even though it was the hardest it turned out to be one of your best. It is just great with his sparkly eye and pale skin fading into the background. I don't like all of those eye shots that people take when they stare into the camera but this one is different and lovely.
@wac Thank you very much Wendy for the nice comment. Sometimes I'll just get an idea out of the blue to try something, never intending to use it as my picture of the day but then the picture just seems to take on a life of it's own and ends up on here. This picture was born out of desperation....I didn't have any other pictures to use and couldn't muster up any inspiration that day to go outside looking for one!
@wac Thank you! I think I just might frame it for him even though he really doesn't "get" grandma's photography obsession! It's funny because lately he's pointing out potential pictures for me now so not only has this project changed the way I look at things around me, it's actually made Joey more aware too! :)
did you soften this at all? the eyes are so sharp and the rest soooo softened, all around etc. just wondering :))
:-D
