WALL-E by bluemoon

WALL-E

After hundreds of lonely years doing what he was built for, WALL-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) discovers a new purpose in life (besides collecting knickknacks) when he meets a sleek search robot named EVE (Extra-terrestrial Vegetation Evaluator). EVE comes to realize that WALL-E has inadvertently stumbled upon the key to the planet’s future and races back to space to report her findings to the humans who have been eagerly waiting aboard the luxury spaceship Axiom for news that it is safe to return home. Meanwhile, WALL-E chases EVE across the galaxy and sets into motion one of the most incredible comedy adventures ever brought to the big screen.

I shot this using Joey's Wall-e & Eve robots and a lot of patience. Every time I turned them on so their eyes would light up Wall-e would take off and then tip over. I finally lodged him in his little faux pile of garbage long enough to get one picture that wasn't all blurry. Wow, this movie theme is tough! :)

LOVE IT!

This is awesome, Paula. What processing have you used to create that texture/screen effect? My grandchildren went through the Wall-E phase a year ago and I can't tell you how many times we have watched the movie. And, yes, they have Wall-E and Eve as well. Love it!

@amyhughes @bethanyjay @individuality_a Thank you for the nice comments especially since I'm no good at creating photo ops or setting up shots.....if it isn't already there waiting for me to take a shot of it, I'm in trouble! :)

@barbsmith Thank you Barb for your kind words. I used Picnik for the texture....it's called dots I think. I messed around with a bunch of them and I finally said the heck with it and unloaded it. You can drive yourself nuts with all those choices! :) We have Wall-e everything around here....Joey has pretty much outgrown it but his little sister hasn't! :)

Paula, sometimes I have to laugh at the things we do to take pictures. In the past week my son twice has come into the room and asked "What are you doing!!??" I admit I like the idea that he thinks I am a bit daft. You have two hibiscus on the pop. Well deserve accolades for lovely photos. Thx for your nice comments on my little bird.
