THANK YOU all for commenting....you've made my day! :) It was getting late last night and I had taken NO pictures at all yesterday....I just hate those nights when panic mode kicks in and you're running out of time to get a picture up. Usually not a great way to approach the daily shoot! Roses to the rescue....so thank you for all your kind words, it makes the panic attack seem like it was somehow worth it! :)
@rebcastillo77@omabluebird@barbsmith THANK YOU for your nice comments, I just really needed a little color in my world and besides I took the easy way out...these roses are much easier to shoot than going outside and freezing to death taking snow shots!!
@wac Thanks Wendy! I am almost embarrassed to admit that I bought a little girls purse at Walmart that day. It was the cutest thing I'd ever seen...little bitty pink purse with that looks like it's made out of glitter. They had several colors but I grabbed the pink one...told myself I was buying it for my granddaughter Katie but I knew when I picked it up and saw all that sparkle from the glitter it would make some AWESOME bokeh. So I was being a little selfish when I bought it....I will give it to Katie but I just had to try it out first as a backdrop for the rose shots! It was funny because for my first try I had my husband hold the purse by it's strap behind the flowers.....I should have taken a picture of him holding that sparkly little pink purse for my pic of the day!! :)
