Solitude by bluemoon

Solitude

Stopped by the one of my favorite haunts today....just a small park/wildlife preserve down the road from us. Still looks pretty wintry even though it was in the low 40's today. I love this place...it has the most beautiful old trees, mostly towering Oak and Hickory trees. Joey and I were the only ones out there today except for the Buffalo and Elk. I'm looking forward to coming here this spring but I don't look forward to the all the cars and crowds that will come with it! I like the peace and quiet it offers in the winter months.
Gorgeous.

Beautiful. Yes, it's got a very wintry look, but it's got a stark beauty just the same.

A beautiful composition. The majestic old tree, icy pond and rustic fence make this a perfect photo.
