It seems everyone I go, there they are....deer, deer everywhere! I have seen more deer close up in the last couple of weeks than I have in the last couple of years combined and they've all been kind enough to just stand around and let me snap away. I had multiple opportunities again this afternoon to shoot them in different locations. I sure do hope deer season has ended because these guys are way too trusting.
Beautiful! They say we have deer here - too many of them, in fact. Except for the one we almost hit about 3 years ago; I haven't seen one. This is a wonderful photo.
Beautiful!!! I love the way the one is looking over his neighbor's rear end, and I love their intense interest in you... You can almost hear them thinking, "What's she gonna do?!? Shall we run?!?" Great shot, Paula!!!
Nice. I like the brown and white colors. The deer look like they are posing for you. I like how one of the deer looks like it is hiding behind the other one.
Thank you for all the kind comments....it's always a pleasure to sit down and read through them. I was wondering the same thing as some of you mentioned....maybe their food supply is getting scarce so they are becoming quite bold in coming out into areas they normally wouldn't have b when food was more plentiful. Most of them still take off when they see me but in the last week I've had several encounters where a few of them seem quite unconcerned with my presence and let me approach fairly close to them before they get spooked.
