It's Nikolaus Day today in Germany and a lot of children will have anxiously checked their boots this morning hoping Nikolaus left them some sweets. Some of you may have already learnt my family has a different tradition. However, a kind friend bought me a chocolate Nikolaus, so what else could I do than have him walking home under bokeh stars - before he gets cruelly beheaded and eaten ;-)
A couple of months ago I didn't even know what bokeh was, never mind getting it into a specific shape...The 365 community is just fabulous for teaching new things :-)
Thanks to @gurry for first explaining custom bokeh to a newbie and to @amyhughes for the latest thread with tips and tricks. Got to refine the scissor action though - my angel wings were an epic fail ;-)

Gosh - I thought it was a string of Christmas lights behind him. You made your own bokeh?! Well done B that's fabulous! Love the glow too. Hope you've done the only reasonable thing as far as the chocolate is concerned,........!!!
